Pro Mujer strengthens its presence in El Salvador with three new partnerships

Three Salvadoran institutions have joined Pro Mujer’s efforts to boost the economic autonomy of women entrepreneurs through access to financing mechanisms and training in digital skills for entrepreneurship.

These are The Technological University of El Salvador, the Gerardo Barrios University, and the Network of Businesswomen of El Salvador, organizations that, following the signing of agreements with Pro Mujer, reaffirmed their commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment.

The agreements, signed in September, seek to connect women with Emprende Pro Mujer, a training platform for female entrepreneurs that, to date, has impacted more than 101,900 women throughout Latin America.

This time, women who are part of the audiences of the three institutions will be able to participate in the hybrid model of Emprende, which shares useful tools for entrepreneurial growth and provides training in leadership and business skills. This model facilitates access to knowledge by offering follow-up via WhatsApp, online and in-person meetings, talks with female entrepreneurs, and personalized support for female entrepreneurs.

Denia del Valle, country leader for Pro Mujer in Guatemala, stated that these agreements “demonstrate the importance of making joint intersectoral efforts to transform the reality of Latin American women and build a prosperous future in which they can develop their full potential.”

The signing of these three alliances reaffirms Pro Mujer’s commitment to empowering women in Central American countries by supporting them in their economic autonomy and providing them with tools that facilitate financial inclusion that enables the prosperous future we seek for women throughout the region.
