Business and Entrepreneurship Skills

Our digital, in-person, and blended programs offer tailored, intersectional, and relevant content to help women entrepreneurs build their leadership, management, negotiation, finance, and sales skills.

Digital Skills

We provide digital skills programs to ensure that women can leverage technology to their advantage, while also seeking to establish partnerships to increase and expand connectivity.

Mentoring and Support Network

Women can connect with volunteer mentors who are experts in their fields to learn from their experiences and build a professional support network.

Emprende Pro Mujer is a digital platform that seeks to support women entrepreneurs' economic prosperity by offering access to online educational resources that are available at any time, from any device, anywhere in the region.

Using an intersectional perspective, we adapted the Emprende Pro Mujer platform to respond to the specific needs of rural and Indigenous women, creating a hybrid model and translating the training materials into Tsetsal and Yucatec Maya.

The hybrid version of Emprende Pro Mujer complements the digital training with in-person sessions facilitated by women from the community who have been trained to support the entire capacity-building and skilling process.

Emprende Pro Mujer has reached more than 1,500 primarily rural and Indigenous women in Southeast Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador.

I was at a handicraft fair when I got invited to Pro Mujer. I signed up, and I liked the talk saying that women have so many skills to demonstrate. There really is a before and after since the many tools given by Pro Mujer.
I used to think "Well, I am selling something, that's good." After I signed up for Pro Mujer's Project, I realized I could reach many more people. I got cheered up and said to myself, "You can do this no matter your age or social condition. Keep in mind that you can do it, you can."
