Pro Mujer Bolivia is recognized for its work in Corporate Social Responsibility 

Pro Mujer Bolivia was recognized with an A+ rating in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Performance , awarded by the Social Rating Committee of the rating agency MFR. This recognition highlights the organization’s ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards of sustainability and social responsibility.

The A+ rating not only validates Pro Mujer’s efforts to innovate, but also reaffirms that its holistic model is making a significant impact on the lives of Bolivian women, aligning with the organization’s core mission.

This recognition drives us to move forward with even greater determination and commitment to social sustainability”, expressed Marcelo Mallea, General Manager of Pro Mujer Foundation IFD. 

Comprehensive Evaluation of CSR Performance

The rating was the result of a thorough evaluation that covered various key aspects of social performance and sustainability:

  • Planning and Implementation: Pro Mujer demonstrated a strong commitment from its senior management to fulfilling its mission, supported by an outstanding oversight of social performance strategies and objectives.
  • CSR Results: The results reflected robust processes for evaluating customer satisfaction, staff training and evaluation systems, and a comprehensive and cross-cutting social approach.
  • Scope and Quality of Services: The organization stood out for the broad reach of its activities and alignment with its mission. In addition, it achieved high levels of customer satisfaction by offering a variety of products and services, as well as excellent quality in financial education, entrepreneurship and tools that support their empowerment.

Commitment to Sustainability

Pro Mujer Bolivia was also recognized for its 2023 Sustainability Report. For the second consecutive year, the integrity, accuracy and veracity of the information provided was guaranteed. This verification contributes to the organization’s credibility, ensuring compliance with the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

Pro Mujer’s commitment to Bolivian women began in 1990, when founders Lynne Patterson and Carmen Velasco, identified the urgent need to transform women’s lives, recognizing them as agents of change and catalysts for social well-being.
