Pro Mujer Mexico Expands its Health Services Area

In an ongoing effort to expand women’s access to health services, Pro Mujer announced the opening of a new specialized nutrition clinic in Mexico City, the first of its kind in the country.

The clinic was inaugurated on May 22 in Xochimilco, Mexico City. This is the fourth clinic opened during 2023. The others are located in Mexico City (1) and the State of Mexico (2) and offer low-cost medical consultations and check-ups for women and their families. 

Pro Mujer also established a collaboration agreement with Grupo Diagnóstico Aries to offer Pro Mujer clients preferential pricing and discounts at various diagnostic laboratory locations.

Grupo Diagnóstico Aries is a multi-brand consortium of clinical diagnostic services with 13 brands and more than 300 locations throughout Mexico. Annually, they serve 4.4 million patients and more than 14,000 companies nationwide.

The collaboration agreement offers discounts between 30% and 70% off the list price at Olab, Laboratorios Azteca, and Jenner labs. Discounts apply to the entire catalog of studies, including lab tests, x-rays, and ultrasounds.

Direct family members of Pro Mujer clients can also take advantage of the discounts (parents, siblings, children, and spouses), thus prioritizing the well-being of our clients and their families.

Pro Mujer Mexico also recently held a session to raise awareness of gender-based violence in collaboration with Espacio Mujeres, an organization that works to support the empowerment of women survivors of violence.

Of the 44 women who attended the session, 25 received a free mammogram, and 43 requested information about the Emprende Pro Mujer training program.
