A year ago, Pro Mujer and Eramet joined forces with a clear purpose: to promote the development of women in Argentina through Emprende Pro Mujer, an entrepreneurship training platform that has impacted over 200,000 women across 23 countries in Latin America and the U.S. Today, we celebrate the milestones achieved and renew our commitment to continue expanding our impact.
Thanks to this partnership, in 2024 we were able to expand Pro Mujer’s presence in Salta, Argentina, reinforcing our mission to support women on their journey to transforming their businesses and achieving economic independence. Through an innovative hybrid model and dynamic content, we offered training in leadership, business management, personal development, finance, and sales—combining in-person sessions with digital learning via WhatsApp.
The impact exceeded expectations! More than 360 women from Salta Capital, General Güemes, General San Martín, Orán, Chicoana, Cerrillos, and La Viña took part in the program, and nearly 100% of participants said they would recommend the program.
This initiative is part of the “Eramet Beyond for Contributive Impact” program, which aims to promote economic and social development in the communities where Eramet operates.
The journey doesn’t end here. Our goal for 2025 is to reach 500 graduates and expand the program to more locations across the province. In the long term, this alliance aims to train more than 2,500 women entrepreneurs in Salta over the next three years, equipping them with the tools they need to become agents of change in their communities.
At Pro Mujer, we’ve spent 35 years advancing gender equality in Latin America, impacting more than 2.5 million women through access to finance, education, and healthcare. We know that when a woman thrives, she strengthens those around her and creates a ripple effect in her community.
Let’s keep building a future full of opportunities together! This partnership is just the beginning of a transformation that will continue making a difference in the lives of thousands of women.
