In a context where gaps in access to health services persist—especially for women in vulnerable situations—timely and trustworthy information becomes essential for prevention and self-care.
Throughout 2025, Pro Mujer’s health chatbots consolidated their role as a key tool for expanding access to reliable information and timely guidance in settings where geographic, economic, or social barriers continue to limit health care.
Through accessible and easy-to-use digital solutions, Pro Mujer supported thousands of women across the region on priority topics related to prevention and care.
Over the course of the year, more than 15,900 completed chats were recorded across different health topics:
- 8,140 conversations on sexual and reproductive health
- 3,757 related to breast cancer
- 3,304 on diabetes
- 761 on menstruation
These figures reflect both the diversity of needs and the trust our users place in digital channels to address sensitive questions safely and confidentially.
One of the key milestones of 2025 was the incorporation of menstruation and menopause chatbots, expanding the care model to life stages that have historically been overlooked. These new tools provide clear, evidence-based information on physical changes, symptom management, and warning signs—helping more women understand their health across the life cycle and access guidance without stigma or judgment.
The impact of this digital strategy is further strengthened by its sustained growth over time. Since their implementation in 2021, Pro Mujer’s health chatbots have accumulated more than 72,600 completed chats, consolidating their role as a relevant complement to our in-person services and as a gateway to prevention and self-care in health.
This progress also reflects Pro Mujer’s evolution under its new strategy: strengthening preventive services and more efficiently leveraging the potential of technology to respond to women’s current needs and expand reach.
