Pro Mujer and Eramet announce the launch of the final phase of their strategic partnership in the province of Salta, Argentina, consolidating over three years of collaboration aimed at strengthening the economic autonomy of women entrepreneurs in vulnerable contexts.
This new stage, to be implemented throughout 2026, marks the closing phase of an initiative that, over nearly three years, sought to reach the goal of supporting 1,200 women in developing and strengthening their businesses through comprehensive, gender-responsive training, promoting entrepreneurship as a sustainable strategy for income generation and improved quality of life.
Since its launch in 2024, the partnership between Pro Mujer and Eramet has served as a concrete response to the challenges faced by necessity-driven women entrepreneurs in Salta — many of them single heads of household, with limited income and restricted access to specialized training.
Through Emprende Pro Mujer, the region’s leading entrepreneurial training platform, participants strengthened key business capabilities through a hybrid model that combined in-person sessions with digital tools, adapted to their local realities and levels of digital literacy.
The program integrated business training, technical support, and practical tools to develop skills such as business planning, cost management, pricing strategies, commercialization, and business resilience. This approach not only helped improve participants’ incomes but also built long-term sustainability conditions for their enterprises.
A Final Phase Focused on Scaling Impact
In this final phase, the program takes a key step by incorporating, for the first time, a fully digital modality to complement the hybrid model already in place. This evolution will allow the initiative to expand its reach, adapt to diverse territorial realities, and strengthen business capabilities in a more flexible and scalable manner.
During 2026, the program anticipates the graduation of:
- 200 entrepreneurs through the hybrid modality
- 200 entrepreneurs through the digital modality
The partnership with Eramet reaffirms the value of collaboration between the private sector and social organizations in reducing economic and gender gaps, and demonstrates that local development with a gender focus is possible when training, innovation, and territorial commitment come together.
With this final phase, Pro Mujer and Eramet are not simply closing a project — they are consolidating an impact model that lays the groundwork for future economic inclusion initiatives in the region.
