Pro Mujer and The UPS Foundation Renew Their Partnership in 2026 and Expand Their Reach

Pro Mujer and The UPS Foundation announce the renewal and expansion of their strategic partnership in 2026, consolidating a shared commitment to transforming the realities of women entrepreneurs across Latin America.

This new phase not only increases the number of beneficiaries but also expands the initiative’s geographic scope. In previous stages, the partnership was implemented in Mexico and Argentina; in 2026, the program will expand for the first time to Colombia and Peru, strengthening its regional presence and supporting women in diverse and dynamic business ecosystems.

This year’s projection includes direct impact on 950 women entrepreneurs through training models adapted to different contexts and needs, from an intersectional perspective that recognizes the multiple barriers women face.

Through the Emprende Pro Mujer digital entrepreneurial training platform, 600 entrepreneurs in Mexico, Colombia, and Peru will receive support, eliminating geographic barriers and providing flexible access to high-impact content, mentorship, and practical tools to consolidate and grow their businesses.

In Mexico, 250 entrepreneurs from the Greater Mexico City area (Mexico City and the State of Mexico) will participate in the hybrid modality of Emprende Pro Mujer, which combines digital training with in-person support. This model strengthens key capabilities such as strategic planning, cost structure management, commercialization, and digitalization, through a practical and context-driven approach.

The Launch of Academia UPS: Professionalization and International Expansion

As part of this new phase, the partnership introduces an innovative component: Academia UPS, a specialized space where 100 entrepreneurs will strengthen their capabilities in logistics and national and international shipping management.

The Academy will provide strategic technical knowledge on operations optimization and cross-border trade, enabling participants to professionalize their businesses and expand into new markets.

This new phase reaffirms the value of partnerships between the private sector and social organizations in generating sustainable impact. By integrating business training, digital tools, and strategic logistics capabilities, Pro Mujer and The UPS Foundation are advancing a scalable model that strengthens women-led businesses and contributes to closing economic gaps across the region.
