Pro Mujer and Cook Master Partner to Support Women’s Economic Inclusion

Pro Mujer, a social enterprise with more than 30 years of experience, and Cook Master, a Certified B Corporation with a strong presence throughout Argentina and an outstanding commitment to social inclusion in the food sector, are proud to announce a new strategic partnership.

The partnership seeks to provide support to women entrepreneurs who have graduated from the Emprende Pro Mujer training program, including facilitating their formal incorporation into the Cook Master value chain as food providers.

The first stage of the collaboration will begin in the City and Province of Buenos Aires, where Pro Mujer currently has more than 2,000 Emprende Pro Mujer students and 200 graduates in the food sector. The program is expected to expand nationally in the future.

  • As part of the collaboration, up to 200 women will have the opportunity to join the process to become part of Cook Master’s value chain.
  • Cook Master will provide technical support and guidance so that the participating women entrepreneurs are able to meet the necessary requirements to become suppliers.
  • Pro Mujer will take charge of the call for participants, selection process, and follow up outreach to ensure that each participant is maximizing their growth opportunities.
  • Cook Master will also work with local government to facilitate access to certified kitchen spaces.

The food sector is highly popular among Emprende Pro Mujer participants and has great potential for growth. This type of partnership gives us the opportunity to create concrete, measurable, and replicable experiences of inclusive procurement and opens the door to new opportunities for our entrepreneurs. It also reinforces a key message: sustainable and gender-responsive development is possible when businesses, social organizations, and women entrepreneurs work together.
