During 2025, the partnership between Pro Mujer and UPS—launched in 2023—continued to strengthen the business and leadership capacities of women in Mexico City and the State of Mexico. Thanks to this joint effort, more than 780 women accessed training, skills development, and specialized support.
Transformative Training: Emprende Pro Mujer
More than 500 women entrepreneurs participated in one or more Emprende Pro Mujer programs—our training platform that promotes women’s economic prosperity and has already reached over 200,000 women across 28 countries.
- More than 150 women joined Emprende Digital, gaining digital, leadership, finance, sales, management, and personal development skills.
- More than 350 women participated in Emprende Híbrido, a blended model designed for rural and Indigenous women with low levels of digital access. This approach combines in-person sessions led by field experts with accessible digital training via WhatsApp, a key tool for women with limited connectivity.
Specialized Mentorship with UPS
Mentorship was a cornerstone of the program, bringing practical, real-world knowledge to women-led businesses. Thanks to the commitment of four UPSer volunteers, five mentorship sessions were delivered, covering essential topics such as:
- Work–life balance
- Improving online stores
- Logistics for small businesses
- Domestic shipping
- Incorporating shipping costs into pricing strategies
In total, 100 women-led businesses were strengthened through these technical and business advisories, integrating key tools for digital commerce. In addition, Pro Mujer trained four UPSers on a gender lens, fostering more inclusive and responsive mentorship experiences.
GLI LatAm Forum 2025: Women Entrepreneurs at the Center
As part of the GLI LatAm Forum 2025, the first-ever Summit for Women Entrepreneurs was held in partnership with UPS, bringing together more than 180 participants from across the country. The event was designed to inspire, connect, and help entrepreneurs project their businesses into new markets, consolidating a space for collective growth and collaboration.
The collaboration between Pro Mujer and UPS shows that when we join forces to train, support, and connect women entrepreneurs, we strengthen their economic resilience and accelerate their path toward financial autonomy.
