Leaders of Pro Mujer and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Mexico came together at the GLI Forum Latam 2025 to sign a strategic collaboration agreement between the two organizations, aimed at supporting women in Latin America.
Aligned with the objectives outlined in Mexico’s National Development Plan 2024–2028 and the 2030 Agenda, this collaboration establishes joint actions that foster gender equality, sustainable development, and social inclusion.
These include :
- Designing and disseminating training materials and activities with a gender perspective.
- Promoting women’s and girls’ health, well-being, financial inclusion, and skilling opportunities.
- Supporting joint research to identify gender gaps and inform effective interventions.
The agreement also emphasizes the importance of cross-sector collaboration with the private sector, academia, and civil society to improve the impact and long-term success of the joint initiatives.
This partnership reaffirms the commitment of both organizations to advancing women’s rights and generating collaborative solutions to reduce structural inequalities in Mexico and Latin America.
