On February 24, Pro Mujer and Desarrollo Internacional Desjardins (DID) inaugurated a coworking space in Cochabamba, Bolivia, for women entrepreneurs as part of the Mujer Sin Límites program. This program seeks to create spaces for women to connect, build financial inclusion opportunities, and support entrepreneurship grounded in community.
This coworking space will allow entrepreneurs participating in the program to hold meetings with suppliers, sell their products or services, learn from and alongside other women entrepreneurs, and receive targeted support and guidance, among other benefits. The new space joins a network of five coworking spaces in La Paz, El Alto, and Cochabamba, all designed to provide women with a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
At the launch event, invitees enjoyed a special culinary workshop led by renowned chef Coral Ayoroa. As part of the program, women entrepreneurs will acquire key tools to boost their businesses and will have access to digital credits and a network of women entrepreneurs.
The Mujer Sin Límites program was designed to support women entrepreneurs with communal or personal loans and those seeking to strengthen or expand their businesses. These initiatives reflect Pro Mujer’s and DID’s commitment to women’s economic development in Bolivia, providing them with tools to strengthen their leadership, expand their networks, and increase their opportunities for success.
