Tony Carr

Tony Carr is the President of Halloran Philanthropies. He joined Halloran Philanthropies as a founder in 2007 after a leadership career in hospital administration.  He served as the CEO of the first surgical hospital in the Nation in Fresno and as CEO of the first Heart Hospital in California.  He has received awards for quality and service excellence and was awarded the first “Innovator of the Year” awarded by the American Hospital Association.

Tony’s work involves impact investing and international support for social entrepreneurs who are implementing great initiatives that address inequality, poverty alleviation and promote community wellbeing.  Halloran Philanthropies received the 2016 World Betterment Award from the Quality of Life Institute for their pioneering work “The Pursuit of Human Wellbeing; The Untold History.”
