Marisol Mosquera is Founder & CEO of Aracari Travel, the leading player in high-end experiential and sustainable travel in the Andean Region. Marisol Mosquera founded Aracari in 1996, after a career in Investment banking in New York and London where she worked for Chase Manhattan Bank, UBS and Baring Securities, focussing on Latin American equity capital markets.
Marisol Mosquera has been a key player in the promotion of Andean culture and civilisation and has lectured and participated in panels in London, Spain and other locations on Inca and pre Inca culture, Peruvian Gastronomy and Contemporary Art and historical subjects such as the history of the Jesuits in the lowlands of Bolivia. Marisol is currently in the committee of the Anglo Peruvian Society in the UK and Conde Nast’s Travel Specialist on Peru and Bolivia.
Marisol currently splits her time between London where she lives with her son, and Lima, where Aracari is based.
