Lisa Ramon, Director of Global Health, joined Pro Mujer in 2017 bringing ample experience working with both public and private health systems across Latin America.
Prior to joining Pro Mujer, Lisa was in charge of the Healthcare Planning Unit (Titular de la Coordinación de Planeación en Salud) for the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), where she was responsible for managing the strategic planning and health informatics aspects for the largest public healthcare payor and provider in Mexico. Before joining IMSS, Lisa was a management consultant and health systems expert at McKinsey & Co., as engagement manager, serving a variety of clients including private banks, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, hospital groups, and public healthcare systems, and as the expert on health systems and services, supporting McKinsey’s healthcare practice growth in Latin America.
Lisa holds an MBA in Healthcare Management and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BSE in Bioengineering, also from the University of Pennsylvania. She currently resides in Mexico City.
