This past Monday, Pro Mujer Co-Founder Lynne Patterson was one of five women honored at an event held by Traditional Home as part of its seventh annual “Classic Woman Awards.” Editor-in-Chief Ann Omvig Maine and Natalie Morales of NBC’s “Today” show co-hosted a special award ceremony luncheon at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in New York City.

The “Classic Woman Awards,” which is featured in its November/December issue available at newsstands now,  is the magazine’s signature program celebrating “incredible women who represent the best in American caring and giving.”

The magazine’s 4.6 million readers nominated women from across the country who are making a positive difference in their communities. Traditional Home’s editorial staff and judges poured over the nominations to choose five outstanding women. Liz Ferro from Girls with Sole, Christina Merrill from The Bone Marrow Foundation, Kendra Stitt Robins from Project Night Night, and Mary von Kurnatowski from Tipitina’s Foundation Instruments a Comin’ were also recognized.
