Pro Mujer wins Honorable Mention at the JK Visionary Awards (IDB)New York, NY, June 25, 2018 — Pro Mujer has been awarded an “Honorable Mention” in the fifth edition of the Juscelino Kubitschek Visionary Award (JK Visionary Award). This Award represents the highest honor bestowed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to recognize the organizations contributing in the most innovative and effective ways to improve lives in the Latin America region. Nearly 600 institutions, all with a proven track record of social impact, submitted applications.

“As President of the Inter-American Development Bank, I congratulate and thank Pro Mujer for its contribution to the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, as a testament to the transformation that can be achieved by our region and its people,” commented Luis Alberto Moreno, President of the Inter-American Development Bank.
