PRO MUJER ANNOUNCES ROLANDO SCHMIDT AS CFO

New York, NY (March 26, 2020) – Pro Mujer announced today that Rolando Schmidt, previously appointed interim CFO, has assumed the role of permanent CFO of Pro Mujer Group, a consortium of financial and non-profit organizations delivering financial, health and education services to low-income women across the Latin American region.

With over 30 years of professional experience, Rolando brings an ample trajectory leading the financial growth and expansion of international companies. This includes having served as Head of Shared Services at Lufthansa, where he led the planning, creation and start-up of the Global Business Services company to provide financial and accounting services to Lufthansa branches in the Americas. Additionally, Rolando has served as Chief Financial Officer for Bertling Logistics, a Global Logistics Freight Forwarder & Shipping Company.

Reporting to the President and CEO, Schmidt is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial operations, investments and shared services areas. President and CEO of Pro Mujer, Maria Cavalcanti, commented, “We are excited to welcome Rolando to the Pro Mujer team.
