Pro Mujer Client, Luisa Daniel Pérez, Appears on CNN en Español’s “GloboEconomia”

At this year’s “Giving Women Credit” Benefit, which was held on Wednesday, October 19th in NYC, Pro Mujer saluted a very special guest –  Luisa Daniel Pérez, a client from Mexico and a 2010 Banamex “Microentrepreneur of the Year.”

The day before the Benefit, I accompanied Luisa down to the New York Stock Exchange for a sit-down interview with José Antonio Montenegro from CNN en Español’s “GloboEconomia.”

Before heading up to the studio to do the interview, José gave us a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Exchange. I first met Luisa in Mexico back in August and knew the trials and tribulations she’s overcome over the years. It was a particularly proud moment seeing a microentrepreneur like Luisa looking out over the trading floor of the world’s largest stock exchange.

During the interview, Luisa talked about how her life has changed as a result of a small loan (US$168) and support helped her follow her dreams:
